Teen Summer Reading participants (13-18) only.
Explore dinosaurs through the manga Dinosaur Sanctuary by Itaru Kinoshita! Join us for a book-club-style group discussion and a step-by-step dinosaur drawing session.
Registered participants can pick up a FREE copy of Volume 1 at the library, starting June 15, to read before the event.

Sign up for Summer Reading has ended, however we need our Summer Reading participants to bring in those reading logs to help Digby the dinosaur reach 150,000 minutes of reading as a community.

This is a great time for adults to enjoy a time of coffee, coloring, and conversation. Some coloring supplies and coloring pages will be provided or you are welcome to bring your own. Light refreshments will be served. Ages 18+

Each Tuesday in June there will be a special dinosaur craft available to pick up and take home to create. Come to the front desk, ask for the "Take & Make Craft". Take your craft home and create it. Each Wednesday in June there will be 5 Dinosaurs available for adoption. Come to the front desk, choose your dinosaur and fill out the adoption papers. How do I get a library card?
Come by the library to apply. Please bring your current government issued photo ID and a proof of address.
We'll mail your library card to you. Please allow 5 to 7 days.

Yes, the library has computers with internet. We have free WiFi too. Ask us at the desk how to sign up and sign in to use a computer.
How long can I check out items?

Most items check out for 14 days. You can renew items by phone, in person, or through your online account.
How do I log into my library account?

To log in you need the barcode from the back of your Cushing Library card.
If you have not set up a new password for your account, it will be the last 4 digits of the phone number you gave us (please change this to a password of your choosing for future visits).
If you haven't been into your account in a while, you may need to have us reset your password.
Should you lose or forget your passwords, call us at (918) 225-4188 and we can reset it for you.
