Each year during the week of "Tolkien Reading Day" which is March 25, the Cushing Public Library celebrates with a week of festivities. This year we're taking our festivities outdoors! Please check for updates in the case of inclement weather.
We've invited Kadie's Kritters to come with her wonderful mixture of animals including, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkey, pig, wallaby, mini horse, and mini cow (if she’s cooperating). There will be cones with feed available for those who would like to feed these wonderful creatures. ALL FREE as our way of saying, "Thank You" to our patrons for supporting your local public library.
To get into the Hobbit spirit, check out this updated classic, "The Hobbit" an illustrated edition of the fantasy classic by J.R.R. Tolkien; illustrated by David Wenzel; adapted by Charles Dixon with Sean Deming.
