We are thrilled to announce our 2026 Summer Reading Program theme: “Unearth A Story”! For 2026, we invite you to dig into the aspects of dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology offering rich opportunities to spark curiosity, imagination, and learning across all age groups. Whether readers are digging into a good book, uncovering hidden histories, or exploring the past, "Unearth A Story" underscores the joy of discovery that reading brings. It also emphasizes that every person and every community has stories waiting to be found and shared—through books, programs, and local knowledge. Summer Reading Program runs through the month of June.
We hope you will participate in our Summer Reading Program.

Help Digby pass each volcano in our Children's Room before they erupt by turning in completed Reading Logs! As a community we hope to combine the reading efforts of all participants to reach 150,000 minutes of reading.
How it works:
Library staff will add up all of the minutes represented by turned-in logs and Digby Dinosaur will travel around the room, leaving a trail of footprints. A volcano will erupt for every 10,000 minutes read.
How to help Digby Dinosaur:
Sign up for our Summer Reading Program online.
Read. (Includes: Reading alone. Reading together. Listening to audiobooks while you're traveling. Listening to someone reading a book on Youtube or at Storytime.)
Turn in reading logs at our front desk and visit the Children's Room often to see Digby's progress.
