This is a shared reading experience between the community and Cushing High School.

Read the book and join us for community activities and events to discuss and further explore this memoir.
Copies of the book can be checked out at the Library.
Available in print, audio (CD), and digital through Libby.
If a copy isn't available we can reserve a copy for you.
A picture book version, "Becoming a Good Creature" is also available to check out!

Bring a 4x6 photo of your pet, 1 per person, and we will display it on our photo wall during the Community Read event (Sept 2- December 6). Please include your name, pet's name and your phone number. Photos can be picked up starting December 15.

Ages 16+
Join us as we color and discuss the book "How to Be a Good Creature" by Sy Montgomery!
Coloring pages will be provided. Some coloring supplies will be available or you are welcome to bring your own. Light refreshments will be served.
